How The System Works
Once Signed up, you will recieve a 'Voting URL' which will look similar to the below:
http://www.top26.net/?in=username
This is the URL you need to link to on your site before you can begin sending in Votes for you site.
The Simple way of putting it is. The more Votes You send into Top26 via this URL, the more hits you will get out.
It works like this.. A visitor clicks your Top26.net Link on your site which will be a banner or something like 'Vote for this site at Top 26 Gaming!'. The Visitor then registers they're vote for your site. The site with the most Votes (per day) is listed top and so on.. so the more Votes you send in, the higher your site is listed and the more your Link will be seen and Clicked on.
We have various Anti-Cheating methods implemented, such as a Voting Gateway. This means that once visitors click the link on your site, they are brought to a Page which makes them click another button before the vote is counted. This stops visitors from being tricked into voting, popups being used and img src load from working.
Only 1 vote is counted from a single IP in the space of 60 minutes to stop 2 votes being counted from the same person.
